Payment Solutions 
At Adyen, our Payment Solutions team processes millions of transactions daily, empowering leading global businesses to deliver seamless, integrated payment experiences online and in-store. Our solutions allow companies to tailor their payment processes to meet customers’ needs. Join us in transforming data into insights that will shape the future of payments. We’re looking to hire for the following teams:

In-Person Payments:
Adyen’s In-Person Payments team powers in-store experiences for major global brands, enabling them to streamline operations, elevate customer engagements, and adapt quickly to evolving market needs. The In-Person Payments Data Team plays a key role in harnessing payment and hardware data to drive product innovation and commercial growth.

AI and Strategic Data:
As Adyen and our customers grow, we’re expanding existing merchants, entering new markets, offering new products, and enabling diverse business models. This exciting growth increases our data volume and complexity. Our team capitalizes on this by delivering complete, cross-functional data that connects insights across our Payment Solutions, accelerating strategic decision-making. To keep pace with this growth and complexity, we’re building an AI-powered intelligence layer that makes critical information and insights instantly accessible so every team can make informed decisions, when and where it matters most.

What you’ll do

• Collaborative Solution Development: You’ll work closely together with product and engineering teams and other data analysts and engineers to ideate, build, and evaluate data solutions to meet business needs. Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, provide data insights, address inquiries, and drive strategy. Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  
• Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze data to identify trends, uncover challenges, and reveal opportunities for improvement. Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize customer performance, increase efficiency, and enhance product offerings. 
  
• Strategic Leadership: Leverage data insights to proactively shape and drive product strategy. Influence and support product development by providing data-driven guidance to inform decision-making. Initiate and drive new projects to help Adyen achieve significant growth.
  
• Tool Development: Design and build impactful tooling that structurally adds value to our product teams and develop scalable solutions that enhance data accessibility and usability for stakeholders.

Who you are

• You bring 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a related role, with a strong blend of technical and strategic skills.
  
• Capable of clearly translating complex data insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  
• You thrive in a dynamic environment, prioritize effectively, and maximize impact through strategic foresight.
  
• You enjoy managing diverse stakeholders, align cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and drive collaboration across business areas.
  
• You bring a curious, experimental approach, eager to iterate and improve.
  
• You excel at breaking down complex tasks, setting timelines, and tracking progress to align with strategic goals.
  
• Comfortable working together with a diverse, multicultural team, you are culturally aware, collaborative, and open to engaging with teams globally.
  
• Proficient with BI tools (e.g., Looker), Python, and SQL. Familiarity with big data tools like PySpark, Hadoop, and Airflow is a strong advantage.
